Argo

What is your worst Nightmare? Most would say "The Monster" where you try  to get away just to feel you are running in place and slow motion. In some instances it might be a Bug or a fictional character,Yet most scary situations happen in crowded places such as a party or Bank or Grocery Store

What would you do if you see something is going to go down yet you can only save yourself?  Would you try to help or would you try to save yourself?

In 1979 the Iranian revolution put on a different face as the American Embassy was over run and personnel were taken hostage. For many years it was believed that  President Reagan had freed the hostages and brought them home. But.... A declassified documents tell a different story!

Argo is the Portrayal of those events in the late 1970's.  Tony Mendez  (Ben Affleck)CIA is assigned the task to come up with a way to bring 6 escapees from the American embassy  who are hiding the the house of Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor (Victor Garber)

A Plan is hatched to mask a rescue plan  wrapped in making a fake movie that takes place in outer space but has all the looks of the Middle East.  As Tony Mendez embarks on the mission he receives  6 Canadian Passports for the diplomats to go under presumed names and identities.

Although the six diplomats were able to Escape on the early morning of January 28 1980,  the other Embassy workers and diplomats were held in Iranian hands  410 days, nevertheless  President Jimmy Carter Negotiated their release yet the Iranians didn't release the hostages until after President Reagan  took the oath of Office January 20,1981.

Argo will mesmerize you with facts of the events that really happened.  2reviewz gives Argo 4 stars for great directing and picture and factual history.

The Raven

"Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream? "
That which we can't see yet imagine. Can't feel yet perceive, A scene, a scent, a feel or touch that can make our senses recall many experiences.

On a foggy day a man sits on a bench. A raven hovers above; a look into his eyes reveals alarming happenings he who did it. Planned it carefully precise down to a tee. No trace behind but only he who wrote it knows his secrets and foretells the future.

He who knows and proceeds must be known. Edgar Allan Poe, a man whose said "I'm Edgar" and is still known as the greatest American author and writer and had many imitations of his work.

It is said imitation is the best form of flattery but what about criticism? It has been written: "He who is with out fault let him cast the first stone"; so many have chosen to cast that first stone and yet call themselves experts beacons, knowing yet accept no responsibility when they fall short.

2reviewz gives The Raven 3 1/2 stars. It was a great film, lots of suspense and keeps you guessing till the end. Despite what critics said it's a must see movie. We want to thank our guess Blogger Weadsad for his time and valuable insight

Black Swan

For many many centuries, mankind has asked the question what is beauty? What is graceful? What is art? This debate has been so heated the only way to answer it even vaguely...."Is in the eye of the beholder"

To be or not to be is what Shakespeare asked as a basic question in Hamlet, there fore what we are can be many different things to different people such is the complex life of an artist,to self express is to be free yet to have the key elements is to have discipline this has driven many into madness even self mutilation or death.

When a door closes and window opens is what we are told yet for many artist it is after they are dead when their work or complexities there of comes to life.

After many years of practice in the New York ballet company, Nina Sayers(Natalie Portman)finally gets a chance to try out for the leading part of "Tchaikovsky's"Swan Lake. Black Swan is about a perfectionist whose art and grace are questioned constantly by the director of the ballet (Thomas Leroy ). Questioning her desire and ability to be able not to be graceful but be seductive and dark leading in to a dark psychological struggle between what is the right way to play or portray a character and what is perfection.

In Every type of competition whether of an Athletic nature or Artistic nature in many ways both has one thing in common, the strive of perfection, whether it is a perfect game or a season.

In the Movie, Black Swan has a deeper meaning....a Swan Song, which by definition is a final gesture or performance, given before dying or retirement.

2reviewz gives Black Swan 4 1/2 stars, it is as deep as is artistic .

The Twilight Saga "Eclipse"

To what length would you go to get revenge? On a cold wet night, Riley Biers(Xavier Samuel) tries to get home after a day of work and is never heard from.

To what lengths would you go to help protect the love of you life? Would you allow the guy who clearly is better then you to help? Would you allow him to kiss her and help her admit that she loves him?

In Eclipse, Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) breaks the rules of the Volturi by creating an army of vampires to kill Bella(Kristen Stewart)

Edward(Robert Pattinson)Must choose to allow Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner)to get closer to Bella. The Cullen's must join forces with the Much Stronger Wolf Pack(Sam,Embri,Paul,Leah,Quil,Seth)to defeat Victoria's army.

2reviewz gives Eclipse 1/32 of a star. The Twilight plot lacks research on vampires also Two guys fighting for a girl? WOW, must be a "High School Girl's "Wet Dream"! though The obsession research was well done. Must have personal insight in this topic huh stephenie meyers? 3 words fit...Obsession,Fantasy, Insanity

The Blind Side

What is a blind side? Commonly it's known as the side you are not always aware of. But in life there is so many blind sides, so many things that go unnoticed but what if there was someone there to help you see or protect your blind side?

In football like in life, we have people that have our back or watch our blind side (such as parents, grand parents, extended family members , teachers, siblings, spouses)

In a small town in state of Tennessee, in the projects of Memphis a young man is driven to the other side of town just for the ride as an attempt to get him and his friend in to a christian school. With out the idea his life was about to change as he was about to change other peoples life.

The Blind Side is the true story about Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) and Tuohy family played by Sandra Bullock (Leigh Anne ) Sean (Tim McGraw)Collins (Lily Collins)and SJ(Jae Head )and how taking in a homeless teen, big Mike (Michael Oher) and making him part of their family and how he changes their life as well they change his and how hard work ,love and the true meaning of family over coming the challenges of life Protecting each others blind side.

2reviews gives The Blind Side 4 1/2 stars. The message was clear, strong and the acting was off the hook and chemistry is fluid.

The Twilight Saga...New Moon

As a young woman turns 18 the thought of getting older while the love of her life stays the same, Bella (Kristen Stewart) has a dream and sees what appears to be her grandmother. Edward (Robert Pattinson) comes and takes her by the hand as they go and greet her, Bella finds out its only a mirror and it's her, only older. This triggers thoughts of mortality .

New Moon (Twilight Saga)is about a new beginning in the struggles that are life and immortality. What it means to be a Vampire (cold one) and the complications it presents along with laws that are not to be broken or secrets are bound by decree and are not (yours)to be shared.

Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) a now (18yr)senior in high schools finds her self more and more wanting to take the next step in becoming part of Edward. At the Cullen's after an incident at her (Bella)birthday party finds her self alone and exposed to the dangers of Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) and finds new allies (Jacob Black, wolf pack)that are willing to go the extra mile to protect her and try to make her happy but it is not without complications and trials.

As Jacob evolves and becomes part of the wolf pack, Alice(Ashley Greene)thinking Bella has died comes back to see her only to learn she was only seeking thrills after Edward calls and Jacob answers, he fears Bella has died therefore he decides to go see the(Volturi) the closest things the vampire race has to royalty to end his own life.

2reviewz gives New Moon 3 and 1/2 stars. Though the story line is solid the fact that the main character Bella (Kristen Stewart)has become more needy and fragile while taking advantage of people (see:Jacob Black).
