Argo

What is your worst Nightmare? Most would say "The Monster" where you try  to get away just to feel you are running in place and slow motion. In some instances it might be a Bug or a fictional character,Yet most scary situations happen in crowded places such as a party or Bank or Grocery Store

What would you do if you see something is going to go down yet you can only save yourself?  Would you try to help or would you try to save yourself?

In 1979 the Iranian revolution put on a different face as the American Embassy was over run and personnel were taken hostage. For many years it was believed that  President Reagan had freed the hostages and brought them home. But.... A declassified documents tell a different story!

Argo is the Portrayal of those events in the late 1970's.  Tony Mendez  (Ben Affleck)CIA is assigned the task to come up with a way to bring 6 escapees from the American embassy  who are hiding the the house of Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor (Victor Garber)

A Plan is hatched to mask a rescue plan  wrapped in making a fake movie that takes place in outer space but has all the looks of the Middle East.  As Tony Mendez embarks on the mission he receives  6 Canadian Passports for the diplomats to go under presumed names and identities.

Although the six diplomats were able to Escape on the early morning of January 28 1980,  the other Embassy workers and diplomats were held in Iranian hands  410 days, nevertheless  President Jimmy Carter Negotiated their release yet the Iranians didn't release the hostages until after President Reagan  took the oath of Office January 20,1981.

Argo will mesmerize you with facts of the events that really happened.  2reviewz gives Argo 4 stars for great directing and picture and factual history.
